HASTY PUDDING
1 ½ cups Corn Meal
3 cups water
1 tsp salt
Take the corn meal and add 1 cup of water to make a mush.
Put the rest of the water in to a pan and bring to a boil.
Add the salt to the boiling water.
Pour the mush to the boiling water and stir till the mixture is very thick.
At this point the pudding can be served as a side dish. Or saved for another dish
Pour the mixture in to a greased flat pan and let sit for at least 4 hours or over night.
Cut in to ½ thick slices and lightly flour them.
Fry the slice s in grease till they are light brown and serve with honey or molasses or syrup.
