This method of cooking corns next to the fire.

First you will need to dig a trench next to the fire about 6 inches deep.

The length and width depending the amount of ears of corn.

Evenly place a about two inches of burning coals along the trench.

Cover the coals with about 1/2 inch of dirt

Peal open each ear of corn being careful not to remove the husks.

Remove the silk and discard

Wet the corn and tightly rewrap the husks around the corn and wetting them as well.

Place the prepared ears of corn in to the trench and cover then with dirt.

Cover the dirt up with more burning coals.

The corn should cook in about 20 min..

Remove once ear of corn to check to see if it's done..
